Digital Currency Group, a cryptocurrency conglomerate that counts the asset-management firm Grayscale and media company CoinDesk among its holdings, raised $700m in an investment round, the second-largest in the crypto sector.
The funding round valued the company at $10bn and was led by SoftBank’s Vision Fund 2 and Latin America Fund, and included GIC Capital, Ribbit Capital and Alphabet's CapitalG.
