Gambling companies have said that the cost of living crisis is not slowing down betting habits, despite the pressure on household incomes.
Meanwhile, charity Gamcare has said its advisors are hearing from people who are turning to gambling in the hope of improving their financial situations. It also said people who previously felt they had recovered from gambling have relapsed as financial pressures have ramped up.
