Independent investment bank Lazard has hired 24 senior investment bankers this year and is continuing to bolster dealmaker numbers amid a boom that is as "good an M&A environment as we've ever seen", according to its chief executive Ken Jacobs.
Lazard unveiled record third quarter revenues of $702m, an increase of 23% on the back of a surge in dealmaking activity that has hauled in $93bn across the industry in the first nine months of 2021.
