They composed a formal letter, on July 28, inquiring about the potential impact of Apple's App Store guidelines on the advancement of emerging technologies like distributed ledger technology and NFTs. Their letter aimed to explore whether these guidelines might inadvertently hinder the progress and growth of cutting-edge innovations.
The legislators observed a noteworthy pattern in Apple's approach to its App Store guidelines, wherein the company seemingly capitalized on and simultaneously limited the functionality of crypto apps.
