Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs) might have fizzled out in 2022 but NFT-based gaming has advanced rapidly. An average crypto user has adopted the new gaming fashion at a very fast pace in the last one year. Even Finder's latest report on Global NFT gaming adoption stands by it. Users have grown at a much faster pace than the average population in various countries in the past 1 year. The fact is evinced by a recent report published by Finder.

View Details »The study revealed that India has gained the top position in terms of adoption of NFT gaming, with 34 per cent having played P2E games, and 11 per cent willing to play them in future. P2E games are digital plays that necessarily require crypto assets and NFTs for the gameplays. They help gamers earn rewards by generating incentives at various levels of the games. Kameshwaran Elangovan, Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer, GuardianLink said gaming and making an earning are both not new to Indians. P2E adoption shows that men are more inclined to play P2E games than women, globally. Seventeen per cent of men have played NFT games compared to 12 per cent of women. In India, 38.1 per cent of men are involved in P2E games, whereas the number of women stands at 29.2 per cent. A total of 41.7 per cent of P2E gamers fall in the age group of 18-34, whereas 29.1 per cent are from 35-54 years of age.
