Staff at the Financial Conduct Authority are preparing to make a legal request to form a workplace union, according to messages seen by Financial News.
Since the summer, employees at the regulator who are also members of Unite have been calling on the FCA to recognise it as their union, allowing it to negotiate on their behalf as the watchdog plans sweeping changes to pay and conditions for its 4,000-strong workforce.
