For the third time this year, CryptoBlades launched a new game feature that either increased earnings directly or at least gives players an opportunity to earn more than they already are. Player versus Player (PvP) launched on all CryptoBlades compatible chains on March 22, 2022. Unlike the beta launch in late January, this is now a full feature release with a wholly rebalanced battle formula. Players wager SKILL against an opponent (depending on their arena) and are awarded their prize after winning the bout. However, it is not only the winning spoils players are after, but also ranked points that could see them placed in the top 3 on the leaderboard where they could earn a huge prize.
Before the battle, players will need to own a character and weapon NFT. It’s optional to obtain a shield; however, they increase the user’s probability of winning if equipped. The game’s SKILL Shop, located in the Bazaar Marketplace, offers shields for players to purchase. Each CryptoBlades weapon and shield NFTs have designated stars (up to five) representing their rarity. The greater number of stars the NFT has, the more powerful it is. Therefore, players with better equipment have a greater chance of winning in battle. Although having high stat NFTs will help you win, the game mode is designed to give players of any level and equipment a chance to win and place on top of the leaderboards.
