Citigroup has hired six managing directors to cover the healthcare sector, a key focus of the bank as it looks to add to its roster of dealmakers.
The US investment bank has hired four senior healthcare bankers in the US and a further two focused on Asia, according to an internal memo from Chuck Adams, a former Goldman Sachs partner who was hired last year to head up a so-called supergroup at Citi focused on healthcare, wellness and consumer, seen by Financial News.
