Alberto Verme, a highly-respected dealmaker who previously led Citigroup’s European operation and its global investment bank, has died.
Verme, latterly global chairman of Citigroup’s institutional clients group, passed away on 15 February. He was a prominent City dealmaker, who occupied some of the highest positions at Citigroup during a 44-year banking career.
