fnlondon.comThe Bank of England has seen a flood of interest to join its discussions on creating a UK central bank digital currency, as debates continue in Threadneedle Street over whether to launch a so-called Britcoin.
The Bank received 128 applications to participate in its CBDC Engagement Forum and 79 applications to participate in its CBDC Technology Forum, it said in response to a Freedom of Information Act request from Financial News.
