fnlondon.comNatWest chief executive Alison Rose is stepping down from the UK lender after a public spat over the closure the bank account of former politician Nigel Farage.
Rose will leave the UK lender which she has led since November 2019 by "mutual consent", according to a statement from the lender. She had earlier received the backing of the bank's board after admitting a "serious error of judgment" by discussing the former UKIP boss and Brexit campaigner's relationship with its Coutts private bank with a BBC journalist.
