Naspers and Prosus Undergo Key Leadership Transition

Global consumer internet group Prosus (AEX and JSE Share Code: PRX) and its majority owner, Naspers Limited (JSE: NPN), have announced a significant change in their executive leadership. Bob van Dijk, who has been at the forefront as the CEO and Board member of both entities for a decade, is set to step down from his roles. Ervin Tu, currently serving as the Group Chief Investment Officer, will take on the mantle as the Interim CEO.

Van Dijk's tenure has been marked by substantial growth and strategic expansion for the Group. Under his guidance, the Group solidified its position as a leading global consumer internet entity, yielding considerable value for its shareholders. Reflecting on van Dijk's contributions, Koos Bekker, the chair, stated, “The Boards of Prosus and Naspers extend their gratitude to Bob for his decade-long leadership.
