Former New York City police captain Eric Adams has been elected the city’s new mayor in a landslide election, raising questions over the stance the official will adopt towards crypto, and whether he will keep the promises he had made during his successful campaign.
The Democrat, who is to take office on January 1 as the second Black mayor of the country’s most populated city, has vowed to implement policies that would reflect the needs of the Big Apple’s working- and middle-class residents.
