Bitcoin and Ethereum Target Additional Gains, LUNA Keeps Moving Higher
Bitcoin price started a strong upward move after it broke the USD 40,000 resistance. BTC was able to clear the USD 44,000 resistance and is currently (12:44 PM UTC) showing positive signs above USD 44,300.
Similarly, most major altcoins might continue to rise. ETH surpassed USD 2,900 and is possibly preparing for a move above USD 3,000. XRP is aiming for a clear move above USD 0.80. ADA is inching towards the USD 1.00 resistance.
Total market capitalization
After a close above USD 42,000, bitcoin price gained bullish momentum. BTC is up 15% and there was a clear move above the USD 44,000 resistance. On the upside, the price is facing resistance near the USD 44,800 level. The next major resistance is near the USD 45,000 level. Any more gains might open the doors for a move towards USD 46,500.
On the downside, the USD 44,000 level is a short-term support. The next key support is near the USD 43,200 level, below which the price may perhaps decline to USD 42,500.
Ethereum price extended increase above the USD 2,850 resistance and was able to clear the USD 2,900 resistance. It’s up 10% in a day. The next major target for the bulls is near the USD 3,000 level, above which the bears might struggle to push the price lower.
On the downside, an initial support is near the USD 2,880 level. The next key support is near the USD 2,850 zone, below which the price might test USD 2,800.
Cardano (ADA) gained pace above the USD 0.92 resistance level. The price is now trading above the USD 0.95 level. The next major hurdle is near USD 1.00, above which the price could accelerate.
