Barclays has named another senior executive for its expanding European investment bank, promoting former politician, François Baroin, as chairman of its operations in France.
Baroin, who was previously finance minister and minister of the economy in France in a political career spanning between 2005 and 2012, has taken on a full-time role at the UK lender, it said in a statement.
