WWE RAW 26.09.2022 Results & Ratings

This week’s RAW started as Alexa Bliss, Asuka and the WWE Raw Women’s champion Bianca Belair came out to the arena. They talked about the recent situation with Damage CTRL. Speaking of the Damage CTRL they interfered. Bayley and Bianca had a heated conversation.

While having the conversation, Bianca reminded Bayley of their previous feud from last year and how she defeated her in every occasion. Bayley then challenged Bianca in a Ladder Match at Extreme Rules which accepted. The segment ended with Bianca challenging Iyo Sky in a match.

WWE RAW 26.09.2022 Results & Ratings

Match 1 – Bianca Belair defeated Iyo Sky in a non title match

The match is nearly 12 minutes long and it was a good match. There were even “This is Awesome” chants. But it was not as good as the length of the match suggests. Bianca pinned Iyo with the KOD and it was of course a clean win.

match 2 – Seth Rollins defeated Rey Mysterio by submission

This match was 15 minutes long at it was a very good match. It did a very good job in story telling. However it only covered one half of the storyline. At the end of the match, Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley got involved who assisted Seth with the victory.

Match 3 – Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano defeated The Alpha Academy

This match was 10 minutes long and it was also extremely entertaining. With back to back good matches, Monday Night RAW felt really good. Otis was put through the announce table which was a cool moment. At the end, Gargano pinned Gable with a Flying DDT

Backstage Finn Balor met AJ Styles and offered him a spot in Judgment Day again. He claimed that together they could rule the whole WWE. He also offered to be with him during his match with Sami Zayn later tonight. AJ did not agree to this proposal, but he did not say no to Judgement Day either.

From last week’s SmackDown they are promoting Royal Rumble which will take place in January. They showed some of the vintage Royal Rumble clips, last week they showed 1995, and this week it was 1998. We do not understand why they are promoting Royal Rumble so early? Are they preparing something really big for this year’s Rumble?

Match 4 – Omos defeated Two Local Competitors

Once again WWE booked Omos in a very strong way again to local jobbers. He squashed two more jobbers this week again. But what is the point ultimately? Why are they booking him like this? We hope they have something big in their mind for him. Maybe a feud with Braun Strowman in the near future.

Backstage Miz was attacked by Dexter Lumis again. This time Miz hired some security guards but it did not work. Lumis was seen in the disguise of an Ice Hocky player who beat down Miz with his Hocky Stick. It was a cool segment but we wonder where it is heading towards.

Match 5 – Candice LaRae defeated Nikki ASH

Another surprise return, The Poison Pixie is back and this time she directly made her male roster debut. It was another feel good moment. About the match it was even shorter than 2 minutes, jobbing for Nikki ASH continued as LaRae pinned her with a Swinging Neck Breaker.

Match 6 – Sami Zayn defeated AJ Styles

Another amazing match, two of the best in the business are going toe to toe. What else do you expect? But the end of the match was quite predictable. Solo Sikoa who was outside of the ring throughout the match assisted Sami as he attacked AJ outside at the end of the match which is the referee failed to notice. Sami quickly pinned AJ with the Helluva Kick.

After the match the Judgement Day came out and confronted AJ Styles. Once again, Finn Balor offered AJ a spot in the Judgment Day. AJ flipped the bird right into the face of Finn. As a result, Judgment Day beat her down. They strangled AJ’s neck with a chair, but Finn refused to hit it and said that he would not do it since he was his friend.

Match 7 – Matt Riddle defeated Damian Priest

The main event of the night was pretty good as well. It was really entertaining. There were back to back which made the match even more exciting. Judgment Day kept on assisting Priest from outside throughout the match, but still he lost. It was a bad look for Priest, but as long as he was not involved in any feud directly, Riddle needed the win.

After the match, Judgment Day attacked Riddle and started beating him down. Edge came out for the save and took out all the members of the Judgment Day. As the stable was slowly escaping, Edge challenged Finn Balor in an I Quit Match at Extreme Rules. Edge stood tall inside the ring as this week’s RAW went off air.

Overall it was a good show. Matches were good but most of the promo segments were pretty weak. The ongoing feuds are well maintained but it did not come up with any new feud. Again there is no World Championship feud. As long as Roman is carrying both titles we have to suffer this. And why are they completely ignoring the United States Championship? It has been month since the title was booked properly. We give this week’s RAW 2 stars out of 5.
