Stacy Keibler was one of the popular Divas of the old-school roster of the WWE. Back then, the measurement of female talent was to provide entertainment through non-PG activities. Being a beautiful figures on WWE TV, many of those talents proceeded to find mainstream fame due to this aspect. Keibler was also supposed to be a part of such a stint but it got canceled eventually.

Several former WWE female superstars made appearances on the Playboy magazine cover starting from the 1990s until the late 2000s while working for the company which is unthinkable in today’s PG era. Sable, Torrie Wilson, Christy Hemme, Maria Kanellis, late Chyna, late Ashley Massaro, and Candice Michelle were among those names who appeared on it. Stacy Keibler might have also been added to that list, but it didn’t become a reality.

Former WCW president Eric Bischoff recently discussed former female WWE Divas making appearances in Playboy magazine. Stacy Keibler was also selected to be on that list but she was eventually declined to do modeling for the well-known company. Apparently, it was Bischoff who went into detailing how he talked Stacy Keibler out of the stint on his “83 Weeks” podcast.

Stacy Keibler was robbed of a Playboy Cover opportunity

Bischoff reminded a young Stacy about her parents’ reaction to getting her out of appearing on the Playboy cover,

“Stacy [Keibler] came to me, and she wanted my opinion. I was like, ‘OK, how’s your dad gonna to handle it? It ain’t gonna bother you at all, but how’s your dad gonna handle it? Because he still goes to work every day.’ And then she went, ‘Oh yeah, you’re right.’ That was the end of it. What was I supposed to say, ‘Sure baby, I can’t wait to get a look at those legs!’”

Although Stacy Keibler was never featured to be a Playboy cover model she got to be a part of the first and only “Playboy Evening Gown match” at WrestleMania 20 in 2004. She got paired up with Miss Jackie to compete against two bombshells and former Playboy cover girls, Torrie Wilson and Sable. The latter name appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine, twice, in April and September. In fact, Torrie and Sable together featured in an issue.

These cover features were a part of the partnership between Playboy and WWE that began in 1999 and lasted up to 2008. Maria Kanellis was the last female to have featured on the cover at a time when Stacy Keibler was long gone from the company. The fact that the magazine portrayed the cover ladies via nude pictorials, skyrocketed their fame. But moving on WWE discontinued all those tie-ups and moved their contents to TV-PG ratings.
